New Horse Game: Bibi & Tina – Ready, Set, Ride! is Out Now for Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox and PC
There’s a brand new horse game out this week on PC and Consoles! Bibi & Tina – Ready, Set, Ride! is the newest entry in the game series based on the TV, movie and radio drama franchise about a teenage witch and her horse girl bestie.
The game description promises a summer tournament with various disciplines including racing, show jumping and – for the first time in the series – carriage driving!
A summer full of friendship, tournament excitement and horse-filled happiness: Ride with Bibi, Tina and Alex as they compete for the cup, stand together against unfair rivals – and dive into varied horse-riding adventures. Action-packed carriage races are among the special highlights.
Further info on the game’s Steam page shows flag races, horse care, and what looks to be a bit of animated cutscene footage. Also worth pointing out: the game adds Alex as a playable character in addition to the titular duo of girls. As an established character in the franchise who’s been around as an NPC in previous games, Alex is an excellent choice for a male playable character, which I really appreciate.
If the Horse Game Database has found them all (shoutout to the tireless wiki contributors, you are loved and appreciated!), this would be the 29th Bibi & Tina game in the whole Franchise, though only the second game developed by Korion Interactive, after Bibi & Tina – New adventures with horses from 2022.
I have not played Korion’s Bibi & Tina game, but I did interview the team about their work on it at the time, and I have in the meantime reviewed the studio’s take on the My Riding Stables franchise, My Life: Riding Stables 3, also published by Markt + Technik.
Clearly, Bibi & Tina – Ready, Set, Ride! is aimed at a younger audience, and its use of Horse Animset Pro is unlikely to impress many in the TMQ community. Still, if my experience with My Life: Riding Stables 3 is any indication, I do have faith that this game will be a more competent and well-rounded product than the last Bibi & Tina game I played.
