I am available for consulting in game production, game design, marketing, market analysis and community management, with a focus on games about horses.
Work and Tasks
Every project has its own needs and focal areas, and the ways I can help you depend hugely on what stage your project is in. Broadly speaking, this is some of the types of work I do for my clients and am available for:
Review and provide feedback for Game Design Documents, Pitch Decks etc.
Analyse market fit, audience resonance and unique selling points of Game Concepts
Play prototypes and provide detailed feedback
Review horse models and animations & provide detailed feedback including draw-overs
Fill gaps in horse-related knowledge, outline narrative or mechanical opportunities that combine equine expertise and gameplay fun
Outline and draft or review marketing texts (store pages, social media posts & more) that resonate with the horse-loving audience
Provide marketing advice for general best practices (with a focus on Steam/PC Games)
Build up and manage communities on Facebook, Discord and Reddit
My generalist background in game design and my years-long experience conducting market research and analysis in the horse game niche mean I can help with a range of topics in the game creation process, and I always strive to find scope-friendly solutions at any budget and team size.
Rates
My rates depend on the scope of your project and my involvement. I can offer consulting calls at an hourly rate on short notice, or we can arrange something more long-term for a much lower hourly price. For independent game creators and small passion projects, I’m always willing to make concessions. Working on a revenue share basis is an option for projects that fully convince me.
