The Ranch of Rivershine is now out in Full Release – and currently 35% off!

The Ranch of Rivershine is a standout in the horse game niche for various reasons, as an indie game by a game creator with multiple released and well-received projects under her belt. I’ve written about the game and talked to developer Éloise Laroche back when the game released its first playable demo in early 2023 and came away with very positive impressions, and from everything I’ve seen, the project has only improved from there. Dozens of TMQ Community members have voiced their awe and admiration for the regular updates and transparent communication during the entire EA period, as well as for the game’s overall quality.

After about two years in Early Access with several game updates and patches, the game has received its final major content updates on May 23rd 2025. At time of writing, the game is also 35% off until May 30th – the highest discount it’s ever received so far.

I definitely want to give the game a thorough look now that it’s complete, but I think the thoroughly positive reviews (94% Positive rating on Steam overall) speak for themselves, in case you don’t want to miss out on the discount while waiting for my review.

As for what is next for Cozy Bee Games: In a Steam News Update, after showcasing the various new additions to the game, Éloise writes that

As we've now reached the end of the roadmap for Rivershine, I'll only be updating the game to fix bugs and add small quality of life improvements. I've loved the years I've spent working on this game, and I know a lot of players would enjoy more content, but it's become increasingly challenging to add more to the game with each update. I think the full release is the perfect time to wrap up my work on Rivershine!

But, it's not the end for Cozy Bee Games! I've collected a ton of new game ideas while working on Rivershine that I'm really excited about. I can't wait to announce my next project to you all, and while I can't say much about it for now, it will most likely be a new cozy animal life sim!
